Let’s talk! You are on the greatest journey of your life, the journey to parenthood. This is your time to reflect on your ideals and energetic focus on growth and love. These consultations are your chance to ask the questions, share the fears, and get the guidance that you need to help on that journey.
Pregnancy/Labor Consultation: For families who are pregnant and/or preparing for labor, this consultation is about shedding myth and gaining knowledge. This is your time to get advice on some pregnant symptoms, review labor options, create a birth preference plan, and plan your postpartum plan. If you are considering my Labor Doula Services, this is a chance to ask interview questions to better help you determine how I can how on your journey.
Postpartum Consultation: For families recently delivered, this consultation is about healing and help. For many cultures, the postpartum period is a time of rest for the immediate family. Traditional Chinese Medicine calls for the mother to spend most of the time in bed for a full 40 days after birth, allowing the village to support the family. Of course, that is a near impossible situation for most American families. My goal is to help you figure out what level of rest, work, and assistance you need/want during the postpartum period.
