Infant Nanny

Before I discovered the doula craft, my work with families was almost entirely through nanny care. I have been a full and/or part-time nanny for 5 years. I do not have children of my own (yet!) but enjoy nurturing the children of others. As an infant nanny, my job is to assist parents with the new and plentiful tasks of have a newborn/infant. This includes everything from infant laundry and bottle care to overnight care. For those parents struggling to find childcare, I enjoy providing reliable service that allows the parents time to work or play without worry.  

Meal Planning/Prep

Your postpartum healing period would not be complete without the right nutritional fuel. Unfortunately, this hectic time period can make it difficult for families to continue a nutritious diet, much less find the time to prepare meals. This service was designed for families with special dietary needs and very little time to dedicate to meal preparation. As part of this service, I will help plan meals that align with the families needs, likes, and requirements for healing/breastfeeding. I help families determine what foods fit those needs, and what recipes are quick and easy to prepare. Meals are planned weekly, changing as families discover new foods and meals. Additionally, I can and often do prepare meals and snacks for busy families. Using the plan as a guide, I can prepare meals for time periods ranging from a few dinners a week, to lunch, dinner, and snacks for 1-4 weeks. Planning and Preparation services include a FREE consultation allowing both parties to discuss their needs.  Disclaimer: Most meals will be planned with the mother’s needs in mind as her nutrition is paramount for the new infants health.
